Not to get into politics in a “drinks” newsletter or anything, but political rhetoric is totally couched in soda wars right now.

I was not expecting the New York Times and Wall Street Journal to spotlight a bizarre Vice-Presidential soda skirmish this week, which started a couple of weeks ago in Ohio, over a bottle of Diet Mountain Dew.
